Hudson Pacific Properties was a new company being established by a number of existing commercial real estate professionals. They asked us to work with them, on a tight deadline, to create a logo, website and basic branding for the new company.
We were familiar with the existing branding of the companies the key partners were coming from and new that Hudson Pacific Properties would need something strong and iconic. We played with many shapes and forms, but knew that the three letters (HPP) needed to be clear within the logo.
We finally arrived at a logo that had an architectural and structural feel, evoked an urban landscape with a bridge and a hint at the waters of the Pacific as HPP is based on the West Coast.
